What is CSA?
CSA or Community Supported Agriculture is a way of buying/investing in the freshest, local,
organically grown, chemical free produce from the Urban Farm at Maroochy
Neighbourhood Centre.
Our flexible CSA system lets people sign up for 3 months for our wellness farmboxes ($40)
for the reduced rate of $35. This can be weekly or fortnightly, pay as you go, so no stress if
you go on holiday. We have limited 10 farmboxes per week available, signing up to the CSA
guarantees one of these boxes and food security for you and your family.
It offers the opportunity for you to;
- Connect with the land that produces your food/wellness/health.
- Communicate with the farmer and understand organic farming practices, customise your
farmbox.
-Invest in small community farms and a more resilient food network.
- Build a relationship with healthy soil, healthy plants, healthy diet, healthy humans, healthy
community.
- Profits go to supporting Maroochy Neighbourhood Centre and the services they provide in
the community (helping the homeless and family support)
If your priority is to get the healthiest/freshest food for you and your family, supporting
locals, environmentally conscious businesses and giving to a community charity then email
