Volunteering

Our volunteers are an Integral part of the Urban Farm MNC. It is a great opportunity to learn about permaculture, organic growing, regenerative agriculture, bio dynamics and growing here on the sunshine coast. Our members get all of this gardening wisdom just for volunteering and get to meet like-minded gardeners and green thumbs.

Anyone can volunteer and we suit tasks to people's skill levels and abilities. We have young growers who are enthusiastic about eating organically grown, chemical-free produce. Retirees who like to spend time in our garden sanctuary and chat with other people. Clients with  Adult learning difficulties and their carers who get a lot of self worth with helping out at the farm. Getting back to nature with Toddler groups and Mindfulness walks to ground people's centre.    

Without their help we would not have progressed to where we are today.
